Because their search for a usable green golf tee did not yield a good alternative, they eventually decided to take up the challenge themselves: to develop a tee made of truly environmentally friendly and 100% compostable material.

The HemCell material was found at Vitrite Middelburg: a green alternative to plastic and the perfect basis for the GreenTees. A 100% cold compostable strong bio-plastic, made from fallen palm leaves and lactic acid. Due to the special composition, the tee completely decomposes into compost within a maximum of two years and no residues and environmental pollutants are left behind in nature. In addition, the GreenTees are colored with safe bio paint.
